Log your summer reading and activities in Beanstack to earn badges, prizes, and tickets for our raffle drawings. Access our Beanstack site at fortlibrary.beanstack.org or download the Beanstack Tracker app. Paper reading logs will be available upon request.

Storytime in the Park
Wednesdays (June and July) at 10 a.m.
Join us at the Jones Park shelter at S. 6th Street for stories and songs. Check the library’s Facebook page or call the library for weather-related cancellations.  Registration is not required for Storytime in the Park.  Fort Healthy will join us at Storytime in the Park on June 9, June 16, June 23, and June 30 to give away free kids’ bike helmets and summer safety kits directly following the end of the storytime.

Fish Tails, Family Fun
Monday, June 14 at 2 or 3 or 6:30 p.m.
Join local artist Sally Koehler to work on an outdoor community project featuring the “catch of the day.” We will be using chalk pastels to design our own fish on banners that will hang in the library. This program is recommended for students in Kindergarten and up or younger kids with adult supervision. Miss Jamie’s Farm
Virtual Performance
Thursday, June 17 at 1:30 p.m.
Join Miss Jamie as she takes young kids and their families on a field trip to her farm via Zoom! Help her care for her animals and plant her crops in this musical adventure for young kids and families. If you wish, you can have the following items on hand to make the show even more fun: a scarf or bandana, a hairbrush, an apple, a toy shovel, and any stuffed animals or toys that you might see down on the farm.  Registration is required.  Click here to register for this program.

Create Your Own Zine
Friday, June 18 at 1 p.m.
Discover the power of a tiny book by making your own Zine! This outdoor workshop led by Linda Teed is open to students in grades 1-5.  All supplies will be provided.  Registration is required.  Stop by the library’s main service desk or call (920) 563-7790 to register for this program.

Japanese Carp Windsock
Monday, June 21 at 2 or 3 or 6:30 p.m.
Join local artist Sally Koehler outdoors to decorate your own fish windsock with crayons and markers. Colossal Fossils
Virtual Program
Tuesday, June 29 at 1:30 p.m.
This kid-friendly virtual program will include a 45-minute presentation followed by 15 minutes of question and answer time, giving participants an opportunity to ask questions and learn more about dinosaurs and fossils.  Registration is required.  Click here to register for this program.

Jeremy Bryan of the Figureheads

Jeremy Bryan of The Figureheads inspires all ages with Parent’s Choice Gold Award winning hip-hop music. You’ll sing, dance, listen, learn, and, most of all, have fun.  Registration is required.  Click here to register for this program.

Didgeridoo Down Under

Thursday, July 15 at 1:30 p.m.
Didgeridoo Down Under is a high-energy Australia-themed show that combines music, culture, comedy, storytelling, and audience movement and participation. The didgeridoo has been played by Aboriginal Australians for at least 1,500 years and is known for its otherworldly sound.  But, Didgeridoo Down Under is much more than music.  It’s interactive, educational, motivational, and super fun.  You’ll learn about Aussie culture, animals, and more, all while moving and grooving to the pulsing rhythms of the didge!  Registration is required.  Click here to register for this program.
