Home Delivery Service

The Dwight Foster Public Library has a service to delivery library materials to individuals who are unable to come to the library. Our program uses library staff or volunteer members of the Friends of the Library who deliver the items. It is usually the same volunteer each time so that the patron can be comfortable with the person making the delivery.

Individuals will need to have a library card and live in the City of Fort Atkinson. If they do not currently have a card, we can help them register. Library staff will meet with interested individuals to determine what types of material they would like to receive and a delivery schedule that is convenient. Patrons can request specific titles, specific authors, types of materials (i.e. mysteries), and specific formats. We have many fiction and non-fiction titles in large print and on audio CD and Mp3. In addition, we can provide training and assistance for individuals wishing to download print or audio books to a tablet.

Contact Deb Bauer at (920) 563-7790 to register for this service.
