Winter Reading Challenge
December 15, 2021-February 28, 2022
We challenge our patrons of all ages to read at least 10 books before the end of February and keep track of their reading on our Beanstack site at fortlibrary.beanstack.org. For each book that you log, you will earn an entry in our drawing for a $25 Fort Atkinson Chamber of Commerce gift certificate. Winners will be chosen and notified after February 28, 2022. Those who log 10 books will be able to choose a free book to keep.  Happy reading, Fort Atkinson!

Dungeons & Dragons for Teens
1st and 3rd Thursday of each month from 3:30-5:30 p.m.
Come join us for a casual D&D campaign hosted and run by the Dwight Foster Public Library. We welcome all teens and experience levels. Don’t know how to play? We would love to teach you how to play or how to run your own game!  If you would like to join us, please email Eric Robinson at erobinson@fortlibrary.org or stop by the library to let Eric know.

HelpNow
The Dwight Foster Public Library is pleased to announce the launch of HelpNow – a free online tutoring and homework help tool available to anyone with a library card. Librarian Picks
Fill out a quick form about the kinds of books you like. A librarian will choose about five books specially for you. You will also receive a personalized note from the librarian.  Click here for the Librarian Picks form.

Traveling Journals
Our library will now circulate traveling journals. Traveling journals are filled with the thoughts and creative energy of our community.  Choose one of our 24 journals (each with a different topic) to check out. See what other people have written or created and then add to the journal. You can write, draw, or collage on your journal entry.  Finally, return the journal to the library so someone else can check it out. We plan to add these journals to our circulating collection after they are full. Use this link to see the available journal topics.
