Ticket to Ride Tournament
Wednesday, February 19 at 6 p.m.

Learn how to play the board game Ticket to Ride and then compete in a tournament. Program sponsored by Planet Chaos Comics, Cards, & Collectables. Registration is required. Recommended for ages 8+.

Bookmaking Workshop
Saturday, April 12 at 10 a.m. - 12 noon

Celebrate National Library Week by creating your own book! Artist Gail Milligan will teach us how to form books with a French fold, and then we will use our own creativity to illustrate and write the books. Completed books will be displayed in the library during a drop-in Book Show Reception on Wednesday, April 16 between 4 and 6 p.m. Registration is required and space is limited. Recommended for ages 8+.

Youth Clubs and Ongoing Programs

Club Pokemon
January 4, February 1, March 1, April 5, and May 3; 10 a.m. - 12 noon

Join us on the first Saturday of each month to play the Pokemon Trading Card Game. Bring your Pokemon cards to battle other fans! All ages are welcome and we will teach new trainers how to play the card game. Program sponsored by Planet Chaos Comics, Cards, & Collectables.

Lego Club
January 9, February 13, March 13, April 10, and May 8; 3:30 - 4:30 p.m.

Join forces with other Lego lovers and build a Lego creation according to a monthly theme. The library will provide Legos, though Lego donations are welcome!

Paper Models Group
January 2, February 6, March 6, April 3, and May 1; 6 - 7:30 p.m.

Join local paper model enthusiast Don Holewinski each month to assemble and learn about paper models. Novice or experienced builders are welcome. The group meets the first Thursday of each month. Registration is appreciated. Recommended for ages 8+.

Play Chess!
Wednesdays; 3:30 - 4:30 p.m.

Come for a chess lecture by Mr. Gomez on the first Wednesday of each month and open chess play on the other Wednesdays. No registration is required. Open to anyone interested in chess regardless of skill level or age.

Not available on Wednesday afternoons? Chess sets are always available for use in the library. Just come to the youth desk to check one out!

R.E.A.D. Dogs
January 11, February 8, March 8; 10 a.m. - 12 noon

Children have the opportunity to read to a patient and loving dog at the library. All dogs and owners have gone through a rigorous training program and are certified as therapy dogs and owners. Program sponsored by the Fort Atkinson Kennel Club. Registration is required.
