The Friends Book Sales have been suspended until the library has completed its renovation and expansion project. It is anticipated that the project will be finished in early 2011.

The Friends sponsor a book sale the third Saturday of the month in January, March, May, September and November at the Dwight Foster Public Library. The book sales begin at 9:30 a.m. and end at 11:30 a.m. Friends of the Library get a bag of books for $2.00 at every book sale. Interested in joining the Friends? Membership information is here.

The items available are primarily items weeded from the library collection based on age, use, and the condition of the book. The sale also includes donated materials.
